Narrowing down sports car choice
I have been looking around and considering a new car and settled on a sports car/coupe/convertible. The ones that grab my attention the most are the BMW Z4 (newer model), Toyota GT86, Audi TT black edition and Peugeot RCZ. I guess my question is which of these would you recommend the most and are there any others I should consider? My current budget is up to around £18,500-£19,000 and I would prefer newer motors to anything older than 2010. What's your opinion?

The GT86 feels and handles best but lacks torque so you have to work it even on motorway inclines. (www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/toyota/toyota-gt86.../) Lots of different Z4s. Early cars lacked steering 'feel' but later cars are better: (www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/bmw/bmw-z4-sdrive-.../). For me the onlt Audi TT is the 5 cylinder TTRS (www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/audi/audi-ttrs-200.../) I don't want to get banged about in 2.0 litre 4 cylinder TTs with hard suspension and suspect direct injected engines. Peugeot RCZ is certainly a looker but there's a limit to the power and torque they can get from a 1.6 MINI engine (www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/peugeot/peugeot-rc.../
