Warranty issues with used car

I bought a Freelander in Sep but less than two weeks after two wheel bearings have gone, warranty company refuse to cover costs, the garage we purchased from says wear and tear and is not being helpful , won't pay for the work to be done.

The garage you bought the car from is directly legally liable for the wheel bearings and, if it refuses to pay or do the work, tell them you will have it done by a Land Rover dealer and will use the Small Claims Track of the County Court to claim the cost back together with your legal and court expenses. The warranty insurer can legitimately reject a wear and tear claim, especially when it is obvious that the wear was present before the warranty was taken out.
