DRLs on a Volvo V70
I would like to attach third party DRL lights to my V70. The automatic wiring loombs you can buy seem an easy option along with dimming options. I have a small problem of the battery being in the boot and makes the running of cables difficult. Can anyone recommend if there is a live feed I can use under the bonnet to save me running the live from the rear of the car. The automatic wiring loombe I have seen measures the voltage increase on the battery when the engine runs and switches the lights on.

Well we do not have a wiring diagram for your particular vehicle, but would suggest that you could look at using the positive connection under the bonnet ( the one that is used for when you need to jump start the car in a flat battery situation).
