Are more than two daytime running lights an MoT failure?

The MoT inspection manual says "There must not be more than 2 DRLs fitted and they must emit white light."

The 2021+ Hyundai Tucson has 10 DRL's (described as Parametric by Hyundai). Would/should this constitute an MoT failure? Or do Hyundai have some sort of concession?

In this case, the arrangement of DRLs count as one 'light unit' per side, so it isn't an MoT failure. All new cars are built to adhere to the construction and use regulations in their country, so if your Hyundai is a UK-spec car, it won't be an issue.
