MGB GT 1967-non starter but need to be kept on road-What do I need to do to make it legal?
Hi HJ. I have just got my old 1967 MGB GT back from my brother. He has knackered the engine and I need to keep it out front of my house as a non-runner. This means I cant SORN it. What do I need in place to make this legal? It is registered to him and his address. Must change the V5C to me and my address at minimum? Tax/MOT/insure? Advice is much appreciated

If it is to be kept on the street, it has to be MoTd and insured and 'free taxed' as a Historic Vehicle. Otherwise it will be towed away and crushed. So you need to find somewhere to store it off the street so you can SORN it.
