Problems ordering a new Evoque
I ordered a new Evoque in June. The salesman has left . I have made 4 calls and attended the garage and promised a return call by the end of the day. Nothing. What can I do ? Is there a dealer ombudsman ?

What paperwork do you have supporting your order? What deposit was paid? The best thing to do is to arrange a meeting with the dealer principal of the dealership concerned and if this is not forthcoming, send a letter by post office special delivery to the dealer principal together with copies of all paperwork stating that if the issue is not resolved within 14 days you will sue for the return of your deposit. Alternatively you could take the Matter to Motor Codes, but I'm not happy with the service they provide. A June order anyway will have meant that a new Evoque would have the new Ingenium 2.0 litre diesel engine and these are only just coming into full scale production.
