Winter tyres
I have a Mercedes Benz E300 Estate 2015 model with 265/35 R18 on the rear and 245/40 R18 on the front. I want to to purchase some winter wheels and tyres.
What size rim should I purchase?

The problem is that if you change the tyre sizes this will affect the operation of the ABS/ESC so it's easiest to stick to the sizes on the car. If your MB dealer can re-set the steering angle sensor and the ABS/ESC to suit smaller wheels with deeper profile tyres, then the most effective in deep snow will be 16-inch with 225/55 R16 tyres all round. (The 17-inch size is 245/45 R17 tyres all round)
