Buying a replacement for Meriva what would you recommend?
We have had our Vauxhall Meriva new for about nine years. We like the easy to climb into seats and the flat pack rear loading arrangement via the hatchback. We don't like the "low gearing" i.e. when in fifth gear it sounds like you're in third; the noisy cabin when driving; the uncomfortable ride from the low profile tyres; the very high tax band compared with other cars on the market. Can you suggest a suitable replacement?

A current model Meriva, obviously. The best is the 1.4T. Or a Jazz. Nothing else has such a brilliantly practical interior because nothing else can because Honda patented it. Bigger, a Civic 5-door has the same spacious, low flat floored load area and 'Magic' seats.
