Renewing warranty
The 5 year manufacturers warranty is about to expire on my Toyota. Do you think it sensible to take out a new Toyota approved warranty?

How "approved" by Toyota is it? Is it manufacturer sponsored, or is it simply an insured warranty branded by the dealer as Toyota's? Also, how much is is? A warranty will not cover consumables such as tyres, brakes, clutches, etc, which are actually the bits most likely to wear out.
