Is the Nissan X-Trail known for turbo problems?
I am looking to buy a '57 or '08 plate Nissan X-Trail and just come across some information that seems to indicate that the turbo has been a real problem. Can you offer any advice on this? I understand the best way to avoid wear is not to switch the engine off after a journey, to avoid drying the turbo out, but is there a general design fault with them and has Nissan improved these? If so could you tell me which model and year? I wasn't looking at the 2.2 diesel, rather the 2.0. What is the best way to check whether there has been a history of turbo issue?
