Any problems with 1.3 petrol Fiesta?
My son is 25 and thinking of buying a 2009 Ford Fiesta 1.3 Zetec with 28,000 miles on the clock as his first car. He passed his test seven years ago but has not owned a car and so has no no claims discount. Is this a good choice, are there any faults to watch out for?

The 1.3 was the bad engine, but there is actually no such thing as a 2009 Fiesta 1.3. It will either be a 1.25 or a 1.4 and these are both good engines. Comparatively few problem areas here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/ford/fiesta-2008/?se...d
