The Fabia has the newest technology underneath, but poorer trim. Don't dismiss anything with Renault's 1.2 4-cylinder 110/115PS TCe engine or Peugeot/Citroen's 1.2 litre 3-cylinder Puretech 110 or 130. I'd add a Citroen C4 Cactus to your list and, if you have the money, a Peugeot 308 1.2 Puretech 130 Active that is very fully equipped for £18,345, before you negotiate any discounts and does an easy 50mpg.
