What's the best small car with an automatic gearbox?

My wife broke her shoulder last January and hasn't driven since. She now needs a Fiesta size car with an automatic gearbox. Can you help?

Ford does a Fiesta and a B-Max 1.0 EcoBoost Powershift but they have had a few transmission problems. The very best small automatic car is the Mazda 2 1.5 auto as tested here (not the best colour for it): www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/mazda/mazda-2-2015.../ Avoid small Audi, VW, SEAT and Skoda DSGs.
