What are the pros and cons of leasing a car?
I am considering leasing my next car. I need a very reliable car for the forseeable future due to family commitments and need no unexpected bills! I would like a Ford Fiesta diesel 1.4 or something similar. Can you suggest the pros and cons of leasing? I am hoping to be on a budget of £178-180 per month Can you suggest reputable leasing companies, and are there bargains to be had in the current financial climate?

You know what you have to pay each month and can budget accordingly. You pay VAT on the lease payments (at 20 per cent from 4th January). You don't get to own the car unless by "lease" you mean personal contract purchase.
