Fix, scrap or lease a new car - what should I do?

I have a 21 year old BMW 530d Touring needing attention, should I:
A) Get it fixed (it could be quite expensive)?
B) Scrap it and buy a small runabout - second hand?
C) Lease a new car on a two year contract?

A) Get it checked by a local garage to see what the repair costs will be. The garage may offer to buy it as spares or repair.
B) If the repair is financially unviable then consider a Honda Jazz, Suzuki Swift or Toyota Yaris.
C) All of our leasing advice is found here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/cheap-car-leasing-deals/
