What's the best car for the mobility impaired?
We currently run BMW Tourer but my husband (non driver, 6 ft) is strugginlg with poor mobility and uses a walking frame and wheelchair.
We need to change to a vehicle which has easier access for him- transferring from and to wheelchair and walking frame - also front leg room for someone 6 ft tall. The car must be easy for access and have a large boot for stowage of wheelchair, frame etc. What do you suggest?

If he can still drive a manual, a Mazda 5 1.6d or 2.0 petrol. Otherwise a Ford C-Max with Powershift transmission.
