Buying a used car for £12k - Seat Leon or Hyundai i30?

I have a budget of about £12k and am torn between buying a used Seat Leon 1.6 TDI SE and the Hyundai i30 1.6CRDI. I would use it to travel about 20,000 miles a year so must have a diesel. What do you suggest?

The VAG 1.6TDI has suffered a lot of problems, isn't very nice to drive and is belt cam needing a replacement cambelt every 3-4 years or 60,000 miles. The Hyundai is chain cam so no such problems and also carries a longer warranty, so, looks aside, it's a no brainer.

Quality and refinement are impressive. Great to drive with sharp handling. Shares same base as contemporary Audi A3 and Volkswagen Golf.
