Insurer has written off my no claims wrongly - what can I do?

My car insurer has recorded a no fault accident against me when there was no accident. I have asked them to correct their information, but they are refusing. While this is in dispute it is also preventing my from getting quotes to renew my car insurance. What should I do?

This is libel and the 'damage' you are suffering is not being able to get favourable insurance quotes. So threaten to sue them for the cost of your annual insurance premium.
