Can we reject a faulty car within six months of purchase despite the 3-month warranty expiring?
We recently bought a car which has caused us nothing but grief and the dealer gave us a 3-month warranty. The car started playing up after the warranty ran out and the dealer has said there is nothing he can do about it, but I noticed on your site that we have six months in which we can reject the car. Is this true, even though we had a warranty has run out? The problems we are having are the ECU, which will cost hundreds, and the alternator, which will also cost hundreds.
