Toyota Yaris or Ford B -MAX?

I'm thinking of buying a new car, but cannot decide between the Toyota Yaris Hybrid or Ford B-MAX. My annual mileage is mostly short journeys and I intend to keep the vehicle for five years.

Taking in to account service costs, depreciation, resale value and reliability, which car would you buy?

I'd go for the Toyota Yaris.

Fairly big boot by class standards, tempting hybrid option, Toyota has an epic reliability record.
Sliding side doors and no central pillar mean unimpeded access. Five star Euro NCAP rating. Engines include 1.0 litre three-cylinder EcoBoost petrol. Decent drive.
