What should I replace my Meriva with?
I currently own a 2005 plate (bought new) Vauxhall Meriva 1.4 Life (petrol, manual) and want to replace it with a new car in the next few months. I am considering another 1.4 or 1.6 Meriva, perhaps a higher spec, or a Mokka. However I've also had my interest piqued by the Dacia Duster and the Renault Captur.
I love that the Meriva has totally flat pack rear seating and would prefer to retain this, as well as the enormous storage that this gives me. Also I am only five foot two inches and like the higher positioned seat of the Meriva. I do 6000 miles pa. I am generally alone in the car, doing mainly short local runs but several times a year I do a few weekend trips of 200 miles, and perhaps one of 500 miles, accompanied by my non-driving husband as the passenger.
I just can't decide what to buy that will give me what I want functionally, but also the best bang for my buck. Can you help?

The Meriva 1.4T works quite well. The Renault Captur 120TCe is okay. Looks best in light blue with a white roof. The Duster is the relatively cheap alternative, but for your sort of use petrol will be best and the petrol Duster isn't up to much.
