Where can I get a decent discount on a car in Spain?

The car market across Europe is struggling, yet when we go into the various dealerships in our area, all we get is total disinterest and told that the list price is the price. It is only if there is a manufacturer promotion that there is any movement in price. The area we live in is the Province of Murcia close to Cartagena. Is there anywhere in Spain where we can buy a newish car with a sensible discount?

I learned all about Spanish car dealers on a visit to a trade-only auction near Seville in 2005. The further south you go the more the motor trade is in the hands of former horse traders who won't operate on a less than 30 per cent margin. But in Catalonia it's different. There are used car supermarkets selling off ex-rentals for sensible money.
