Is there somewhere that will repair my BMW 330d's ABS pump cheaply?

I own a 2007 BMW 330d SE Touring, purchased new. Since the warranty expired I have had my servicing done independently. In July the ABS warning lights came on the dash. A diagnostic check at an independent garage confirms the Bosch pump unit has failed. The replacement cost for the component alone is £1600 without labour and consumables, bringing the total cost over £2000. Research on the internet confirms this is a common fault. One doesn't expect a car of BMW quality to develop a major component fault after only 50,000 miles. Can you give me your opinion and any other related knowledge you have please?

It can probably be repaired by www.ecutesting.com, or by www.bba-reman.com.

Update: This turned out to be very good advice because it was repaired, at a £1500 saving on the price quoted by the BMW dealer.
