My 2006 Peugeot 107's power steering unit failed at 21,000 miles - do you think Peugeot should contribute to repairs?
My Peugeot 107 has done 21,000 miles in 3.5 years. The power steering unit failed recently and was replaced by a Peugeot-approved garage. The bill was approx £650. I approached Peugeot customer care pointing out the low mileage and asking if they would make a contribution to the cost. They flatly refused as the warranty had expired, but offered me some unspecified deal should I want to part/ex and buy another car. Is there anything further you think I could do with the company?

That's another failure to add to the list in the car-by-car breakdown. These cars may be cheap and simple but are by no means problem-free.
