Can you recommend a small, reliable, comfortable and safe 4x4 with an automatic gearbox?

In an earlier email, looking for a replacement for my Volvo automatic, I asked you to recommend a small, reliable, comfortable and safe 4x4, but forgot to mention that it has to be an automatic.

Sorry, I answered the question before I saw this. In that case it's between the Qashqai and Kuga, though the latter only comes with auto on the 2.5T. There should be auto on the ix35 later in the year (they've been struggling to keep up with demand for the manuals so far).
