Is there a good car for carrying a wheelchair and disabled passenger?
Is there such thing as a stylish and well designed car for a wheelchair passenger? We have glanced at the Fiat Qubo, Toyota Auris (with swivel seat), Skoda Roomster and Mercedes-Benz Vaneo. Have you any other suggestions?

It depends exactly what you mean. There are some conversions that allow a wheelchair and passenger to drive up a ramp at the back and all the way through the car to the driver's or passenger's seat. www.brotherwood.com is probably best at that. But these conversions are very expensive. At the other end of the scale are cars that it is easy to load a wheelchair into. Honda Jazz and Honda Civics have upward folding rear seat squabs that allow a wheelchair to be carried in the centre of the car. And the absence of central pillars in the Ford B-Max make entry, egress and stowing wheelchairs easy too.
