Does the new RAV4 have a proper spare wheel?

I have an 8-year-old RAV4 that I plan to replace later this year. I have been very pleased with the car, and all things being equal, would have gone straight back to Toyota to buy another one. I was aware that newer RAVs no longer have rear-mounted spares, and recently learned that they now carry a puncture kit. What exactly are we talking about here? I am aware that most alternatives to a full sized spare are 'get you home' or even 'get you to the nearest garage' wheels, and unfortunately my job means that I usually have to drive on the spare for a few days until I get the chance to get a definitive replacement/repair organised.

There was a social media reaction to Toyota's announcement that there would be no spare wheel on the new RAV4, with the result that a space saver will be offered as an option from July. It fits under the load area floor. Hyundai and KIA still supply full sized spare wheels with their SUVs.
