All weather tyres - are they any good?
I am interested in replacing Michelin Energy / Primacy tyres with your recommended Goodyear all year tyres to enhance winter performance. What are the impacts on noise and fuel efficiency and length of life?

Readers who have run them long term report no worse wear than standard summer tyres. They did not seem noisier to me. Obviously they will not give you the fuel economy of a low rolling resistance 'energy' tyre.
