Rev counter problems with Citroen C3
I purchased a new Citroen C3 1.2 VTI (petrol) three months ago and have noticed that when pressing the accelerator and pushing the revs up to between 1000-2000rpm that the needle on the counter fluctuates up and down noticeably.
I have also noticed that when I move out of first gear that there is a momentary jerk and the revs drop in the car which is very annoying. I have never experienced this in a car and wondered if this is a problem or something that is associated with the three-cylinder engine?

Reads like a problem with the throttle switch. But I have noticed this too with the same engine in the Peugeot 208. There was a kind of disconnected feeling between the engine, accelerator, steering and brakes. Yet the same engine in a Peugeot 2008 was fine.
