What's causing my Citroen Xsara to overheat?

My Citreon Xsara is losing water and overheating. I cannot find the source of the leak and have checked the radiator. Lately my demisters appear to be splashing water in the inside of the wind screen and there was a puddle on the passenger's side of the car with coolant in it. Do you have any idea what might be causing this?

Reads as if the heater matrix has failed and is leaking. It's very difficult to get at it and you might need to take it to a local garage.
