Cooling fain failure
The cooling fan in the car has stopped working.
I've checked and replaced one fuse, but this has not solved that problem.
The car is overheating and I have to keep the interior fan on to try to cool it down. After driving for a little while, all the red lights on the dash come on ('stop' 'airbag' etc). I cannot find a circuit diagram for this model that shows me the wiring on the thermostat, I have a copy of the Haynes manual for a Citroen Xsara but the wiring is not the same as in my car - I think the manual only deals with Citroen Xsaras up to 2000, mine is a 2002.

Might be the fan motor, or might be the sender switch in the engine block. One of those two. The sender switch is easy to find. Just follow the cable from the fan motor to the switch screwed into the block. You might need a special tool to remove it.
