I damaged a hire car in the hire car company's forecourt - am I liable?
Having hired a vehicle, I subsequently damaged it whilst still in the forecourt of the hiring company. Am I still fully liable for the damage caused?

If the car was under your control and you had signed for it, then you will be liable.
