Do I need to declare an accident if I was the only one involved?
I was driving my car recently and crashed into a traffic island. No one was injured and my car was the only vehicle to receive any damage. Am I required by law to report this to my insurance company? I’m a new and young driver and worried that my premiums will shoot up if I tell them.

If there was no damage to anything or anybody else, the crash was unreported to the police and you will be fixing the car yourself then there is no reason to declare this.
