Transmission fault 2 months out of warranty - what is a reasonable offer?
My main dealer serviced Qashqai+2 2L diesel automatic has a rear transmission fault requiring replacement. It was noticed two-months after the three-year warranty expired (37,000 miles no towing). The dealer has an offer from Nissan of 70% against parts only, leaving £1,200 for 30% parts and 100% labour - is that reasonable?

Nissan is under no obligation here to up its offer, and this seems to be a 'new' fault. Will add to car by car if not already there.
