Thanks to Town and City Parking for returning our penalty notice charge.
Four weeks ago my wife parked at Asda in Newton Abbot. She forgot to display her Blue Disabled Parking Badge, and when she returned after a couple of hours there was a Penalty Charge Notice asking for £30 if paid at once, or £60 if paid later. When she returned home I commiserated, but thought there was little to be done, as it was a 'Fair Cop'. I did however, put a note in with the cheque for £30, with a photocopy of the front and reverse of her Blue Badge, and asked if they would reconsider the charge. Today, we received a letter from Town & City Parking cancelling the charge, and returning the cheque. As parking companies get a lot of flak, I thought it only fair to flag up when they do show fairness.

That's interesting because it is the second example in as many weeks of a parking enforcement company showing its humane side.
