My Vectra is smoking
I have a Vauxhall Vectra C 1.9 CDTI with 215,000 miles. It has just had a new inlet manifold, cylinder head off to drill out two glow plugs, all put back together with a new head gasket and other gaskets, also new head bolts, new map sensor and new exhaust temp sensor.
It now smokes like a trooper but there is no fault codes or warning lights on , idle is perfect, acceleration is spot on, just confused with the smoke?

If it smokes then the fuel is not being completely combusted. Suspect the glowplugs.

Far better than previous Vectra. Now with decent handling and an excellent ride. Plenty of safety kit. Roomy in the front. Big boot. Good looks.
