Accident management company calling
I received a phone call recently informing me that my car had been involved in an accident. I had not been involved in any accident and when I pressed the caller for information because I needed to report this to the police, she rang off.
The caller had the correct details about my car model and registration number, which I suppose is available from the DVLA, but I was mystified how she could have obtained my telephone number when I had not been invloved in any accident and therefore not disclosed details to anyone. My telephone number is ex-directory.
