Winter draws on - the right car needed
We live at the top of a country lane which is above the winter snow line and so are looking for a capable 4x4, but one which is not too big (but big enough for the two dogs).
Subaru are selling a number of 61-Plate diesel Foresters at around the £18,000 mark, with only 10,000 miles on clock - and this seems an attractive deal for a car which is about the right size - or is there anything else we should be looking at?

Okay, go for it. But fit winter tyres for the winter. 4WD alone won't do the job.
