My lock's frozen!
I can't open driver's door in frosty conditions on my Jeep Patriot. There is no key access on driver's door. All buttons pop up, including driver's door, but neither the ouside handle nor the inside one operates until the temperature rises. I've taken the car to a Jeep Dealer, and it's costing me £290 to fix.
Does this sound reasonable?

Moisture ingress to the lock solenoid. It has frozen up.
