Winter tyre problem

Why cant I source a supplier of All Seasons tyres, ideally run flat, for my MINI? Current tyres are 225/45R18. MINI wants nearly £1500 and goodness-knows-how-much in addition for storage and twice a year swap-over

My previous car, a Honda CR3, was supplied new with all seasons tyres, which performed well.

Change wheel size to 17-inch or 16-inch and as if by magic it will all become a lot cheaper. You'll also enjoy far better ride comfort and probably a better feel of the road through the steering due to more compliance in the tyres,
