Ford Focus estate: when's the best time to buy an '09 plate?
I shall soon be buying a used Focus Estate for £7k to £8k. I assume around an 09 plate.
It needs to be a petrol engine I think, as two to four times per week I shall be doing two mile trips each way trips for elderly parents and want to follow your advice re particulate filters.
I do not need to buy in a rush, say sometime in the next three months. Is say January 2013 a better time to buy than November 2012?

The next few weeks will be the best time to buy. Prices at auction have not quite bottomed out but will do next week or the week after. Check out www.cargiant.co.uk Better to buy before the new year asd in the past prices have always risen strongly in January.
