I need a smallish automatic car, but comfortable for a 6ft 4 in man
I need to buy a small-ish automatic car, second hand. It needs to be comfortable for a 6ft 4in man and have 5 doors. I've driven the VW Golf and Ford Focus automatics, both diesel and quite like them. Which is better and are there any other cars I should also consider?

The only new Focus auto is now a diesel Powershift and the only Golf autos are petrol or diesel DSGs. Which to go for depends on how far you drive. Mostly short runs, you need petrol. Mostly long runs, diesel is okay. Also consider the C-Max because that offers more room.
