My E250 won't even meet Real MPG averages

I have a Mercedes-Benz E250 CDI Blue Efficiency.

This car is supposed to give 53.3 - 57.7 mpg and the average ecoconomy shown on your Real MPG section is 41.1mpg.

My problem is that I have averaged 34.5mpg over nearly 3 years and the car has been regularly serviced by a Glasgow Mercedes dealer!

Could be that your driving is restricted to city or short runs in which case you will get below average mpg. If not, then there is something wrong with the car or with the fuel you are using. If it doesn't improve markedly on Shell V-Power (that should clean up the fuel system), then back to the dealer. Remember to enter your mpg in Real MPG.
