Scraping noise from N/S/R when cornering on a Ford Focus - what do you think it is?

When I turn left with either shopping or someone sitting in the back there is a scraping sound coming from the left-hand rear wheel. I have checked the tyre and the wheel arch for signs of wheel contact but cannot find anything.
