Buying a used Fiesta - £2500 a fair price?

My wife is thinking of buying a 2002 Ford Fiesta, 60,000mls for £2500, any possible problems to lookout for?

That is a colossal amount of money for a 2002 Fiesta if it's this model: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/ford/fiesta-2000/. Not so crazy if it's this model:www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/ford/fiesta-2002/

Just as long as it isn't a 1.3 in either case. Problem areas under 'What's Bad'.
