What items of kit are mandatory when driving in France
I am going to France with my son who will be driving his own car. He is inclined to dismiss the legal requirements regarding items of kit to carry. Would you enlighten him please for my peace of mind.

Warning triangle, hi viz vests for everyone in the car and from July (but delayed to November) a pair of NF approved breath bags. I think the french have relaxed the requirement to carry a spare bulb kit because no one can now easily fit the bulbs.
