Put off by excessive wear on used model?

Hello - I am thinking of buying an ex-motability 09 Citroen C3 picasso. It has done 15,000 miles - but has had new tyres fitted. I have seen a visual health check for the vehicle completed at 9500 miles and the 2 front had even wear of 3mm and the rears 5mm. It does seem very early to require tyres - but the even wear is encouraging. Do you think it was just the driving style that caused the wear?

How do I find out if the vehicle has a DPF fitted - I believe they were an option on the 09 model?

Tall vehicles usually load their tyres more and that's why they wear more rapidly. From what I can gather here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/citroen/c3-picasso-2...d the 1.6HDI 110 always had a DPF, but the 90 did not get one until 3-11-2009 when it went down to 119g/km. So 119g/km has a DPF; 125g/km doesn't have one.
