Noisy wheels on my new Ford Fiesta

Just bought 2009 Fiesta auto which is performing well. The road/wheel noise is a bit high with 16" alloy wheels and low profile tyres. Can you advise a suitable tyre for the alloys or should I change to steel 14" wheels? If so, which tyre?

Change to 14" steel or alloy with 175/65 R14 Michelin Energy Saver tyres.
