Removing or repairing a Clifford alarm
I've got a Mk4 Golf with a Clifford alarm on. The booklet just calls it a Model 2.
It was working fine but today, the keyfob unlocks and locks the doors but it doesn't disable the immobiliser so the car turns, fires but then dies again.
I can't find any information on this problem and Clifford's UK website is down. Are they still going?
Don't want to take it to an engineer if it's a problem I can reset myself.

I think Clifford packed up some years ago. You need a car security specialist to remove the system.
