Electrical issues after leaving a car for 10 weeks
My car (E39 BMW 5 Series) was parked up for about 10 weeks. Before I stopped driving it there were no problems. Now my indicators work outside the car but nothing showing on the dashboard or ticking noise. The picture of the car on the dash that shows when doors are open does not light up, it doesn't buzz to tell me I've left my lights on, I have no reverse lights, full beam does not show up on the dash and I can't control the air recirculation form my steering wheel anymore.
I've tried changing the ignition switch as looking in forums this can be the culprit but has made no difference. I have also done a dash test going into the hidden menu and everything works on the dash when I do this. Any help would be much appreciated.

You don't say if the engine starts ok and works ok?
If engine ok, then given the complexity of the electrics and faults it may be prudent to contact a auto electrician (rather than a mechanic), who should then be able to identify the problem.
